Hi all
Now that I am finally legitimately a Cabby driver, I shall share my thoughts with you.
Its taken about four months to get the car on the road, nothing wrong with the car, but Spanish authorities are something else!! Now I have a beautiful set of temporary green plates on my white 86.
Next to do is get the slippy clutch fixed (?? Euros), the roof replaced (800 Euros all-in) and some adjustable lowered suspension (670 Euros), the seats fixed or replaced, and a single lamp grille.
The black numberplate panel on the back is off at the minute and I think I prefer the look. The white avus snowflakes are all satin back now, though I think I might uncover the polished bits again.
I am well impressed at the carbed 1.8s power, though I am wondering if a Weber replacement carburettor would be of benefit....
Back soon with questions.

I'm on Mallorca. And in Spain we have the euro like most of Europe. I still get the top down here, thanks to the Mediterranean climate!!
