this may sound stupid but im not sure if my 93 corrado is a obd 1 or 2 it a vr6 2.8 distributor how do i tell the difference.

obd-2 didn't come out till 96, anything before 96 is obd-1

Yep, it is OBD1 for sure.
Some people say that some late 1995 models were OBD2, but I have never seen one. I would just consider any 1995 or older OBD1 and 1996 and newer OBD2.
One way to tell on a VR6 is the OBD1 throttle body is a lot smaller. There is an EGR setup on the back of the engine. There is only one o2 sensor.
