it will work, all you gotta do is get a golf grill and hood to go with that, i suggest going "geek" while you are at it...

what the heck is going "geek?" and that's another thing I gotta figure out still on this dang forum.....what's all the slang?
Re: Now that i can program a new Keyfob (golfkid1.8)

geek is the name of a carbon fiber hood manufacturer. They are much ligher and look alot better than a stock hood. If you're going to invest money in getting a new hood and getting it painted, its only $100 more or so to get a Geek carbon fiber hood, and they're ALOT better.
I have the "dual rounds". THere are also "mk4" look lights. Both run 3-400 typically, depending on brand and style. http://www.parts4vws.com is the best place to get these lights, because they come with everything you need. other kits require you to do wiring and make your own brackets.
Hope this helps

no geek ? BLASPHEMY !
a CF hood looks wicked on a black car.....and white cars.....and well damn, pretty much any car if its done right. If I had a car that was geared towards performance instead of looks (I have a CL, not much I can do without major cash to make it fast), I would of certainly gone with carbon fiber.
my vote is spend the extra money, and get CF. its just a sign of true taste

my brothers headlight conversion required custom wiring, brackets and body modifications... he says he can pull it off...

You can get the mk4 look lights complete with wiring and brackets. They come with instructions also. It shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours to install. You can get them here, http://www.dtmautohaus.com. Call or email them about price.
