Hello. I have a 2000 GTI 1.8T. I just got my NS strut bars, upper and lower, from Greedspeed. The GS web site says I need part 35.10.70 for the upper bar, that's what is on the invoice, but the instruction sheet says 35.10.72. The brackets are slightly different than the pic in the NS catalog, and the fit could be better, though that might just be paranoia.
I can't find this # in the NS catalog. Did this part supercede 35.10.70?

Never Mind. Anthony from Greedspeed called (on a Sunday!) and told me the new part number superseded the old one. This is the bar for all Golf/Jetta IV's now, VR6, 2.0, and 1.8T.
It went on easily. Took me maybe two hours, because I took the hole-drilling part very very slowly. Fits well, haven't driven the car yet.
