O2 sensor question

I installed my new exhuast today, and noticed the o2 sensor that I had replaced had been installed with red crimp connectors, and basically left exposed to the elements.. should I make changes, and if so what kind?
I was thinking take it apart... install new connectors, and then heat shrink it all back up.
ideas?

you got it man... take it apart... strip the wires again... either get some heatshink buttsplices.. or jsut heatshrink tubing..
crimp that bastahd back together... and lay on the heat baby...
those wires really NEED to be NOT exposed to the elements...
if htey are, they'll corrode. and.. well.. be prepped for your car to run really
