Thanks to the help i got from this forum last week, I replaced my front o2 sensor this evening with minimal hassle. Used an adjustible wrench plus a 2 ft pipe over it to loosen it up. I cut off the connector to avoid cutting/damaging a platic clip near the wiring harness. Threaded the new cable right where the old one had come out, clipped it in the original spots, tie wrapped it in a couple of others, and it's all good. Car seems to run a bit better, and no codes indicated. The replacement Bosch sensor even came with anti-sieze compound on the threads.
