OBD1 engines are better becuase they have oil squirters to cool the pistons, forged crankshaft, dual valve springs, and a better flowing head. With that cam I would spend the money on a p&p head to get full effect of that cam. http://www.rpi-equipped.com has them for a good price and they are fully rebuilt with new springs, valves, and seals.
