What would cause an 1995 OBD 1 VR6 to hesitate under hard acceleration. I installed a Neuspeed throttle body, but failed to change the gasket. (I did not use and sealant either.) Car seems run out of air and stall until I let go of the gas. Could it be a vacuum leak? Is the Neuspeed throttle a direct bolt on with no adjustments needed?

uh is this in your mk3 jetta vr6?
could be the tps make sure its plugged in and plugged in all the way or the switch could be bad
also get that thing sealded off w/ a gasket or whatever
did you port anything on them or are the throttle bodies stock ?
try cleaning your mass airflow sensor.
they get gunked up sometimes
and if it is your mk3 vr6 jetta you might want to try poosting this in the mk3 forum you might have better luck

Thanks for the info. Woooops I didn't realize that I was in the wrong forum. But anyways, I did seal it up with a new gasket. I think it could electrical. The wires look brittle and they look they may be going. But let me post in the correct forum!
