oem galactic blue paint

i called the dealership to get the spray paint kit for a 2001 jetta galactic blue.. after talking to the parts rep , he tells me it inst available, it has not been shipped to them yet.. so i ask him when does he expect the shipment to come and he tells me he cant answer that question..i'm like wtf !!! he tells me sir the best answer that i can give you is to check back with me in a month or so.

does anyone know where i can get some spray paint as close as possible to galactic blue? i am tring to paint my engine cover and batt box.. thanx... rangers lead the way

Dupont sells the paint. I have had things painted before for my car, and it's listed exactly by the name of the color, ie. galatic blue, artic white, etc.

You can buy it from any Audi dealer. It is called Royal Navy Blue but it has the same paint code as Galactic Blue which is LG5V. I have bought it from 2 different dealers and it was $8 for a set of blue/clearcoat in spray form.

Yup, just like BORA_WE said. They didn't have it when I went to the dealership but the parts guy ordered it and I had it in my hands by the next week. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Yep the color is one and the same. I colormatched my lower grill inserts and rear emblem with it and it looks great.
