So I was putting a jug of oil in the truck of my car in my local Canadian Tire parking lot, and a guy in a minivan pulls up. Turns out he had an 84 Scirocco (of course had a million stories about how much he loved the car), he told me he had a set of OEM ski racks that he had for his rocco sitting in his shed.
Now, I'm not much of a skiier (last time I tried, I was 11 or 12 and scraped half my face off), but... OEM rocco accessories. Anybody have any idea what these look like and/or how much their worth? I got the guy's phone number, just in case.

I did see someone selling an oem rack on here a while back. IIRC it wasn't very attractive....and it didn't sell very quick.

i know there's roof racks that look pretty tight, but im not sure if thats the same thing as a ski rack.

Hahaha sorry, I'm from Canada, it's not Thanksgiving. My only excuse

is because it's thanksgiving.
So does anyone think pursuing these any further is really worth it?

Well, if the rails are the same as gotkraut's car... may just be worth a look.
I was I was a skiier so I had a better excuse to look at these.
