[Derek Jones]

Is the clip that the instructions refer to visible in this picture? I poked around in there and can't figure out which clip they are talking about that releases the hood latch. Help a brother out.

right behind the grill, follow the lever that when you pop your hood with, follow it behind the grill and youll see it. im having a hard time installing myself, it a b!tch to take off the emblem. good luck

I got mine installed ok but it's misaligned - pushed too far to the right, creates a small gap on the left hand side. Anyone else with this problem??

yes, except mine is the other way. i now have a gouge in the grille from the hood being closed on it since it's misaligned. *sigh*

Oh well I'll play with it more this weekend. It was only $30 to paint & I'm sure I can get it repainted for even less if need be.

there is a piece that you have to cut. of you line it up right where its suppose to sit, you will see that there is a piece that you have to cut, its in the middle right where the latch is. good luck
