Official GTG spot in O-town for 1552 Caravans en route to Treffen
Jon (JettinJetta) and myself drove around the other night to look for a large, easy to find spot for a spot for ATL, JAX, Daytona, and O-town Caravans to meet and form one giant VW/AUDI caravan to Treffen on Saturday the 16th. Well, we found it. It is right of I-4 southbound. You get off at Exit 29A, or Sand Lake Rd., go right and head west for about a half mile and there's a Publix on the left in the Venezia Plaza; this is the spot.
Were planning on leaving by 1:00-1:30. We were going to leave later but a lot of peeps really want to see what goes down at the Desoto Speedway. Unfortunately that means that unless you ATL peeps feel like leaving super super super early on Saturday morning, you would probably want to drive half way and stay in JAX or Daytona one night. If this is just too inconvenient for ya'll, I'm sorry. I don't blame you for not wanting to leave at the break-a-break off dawn. Who knows, maybe a few of us who don't mind not going to the track will wait up for you guys if that's the case
Anyways, post up here and let us here in O-town know what your plans are. I don't know about you, but I'm thinkin this could be something.

I don't remember. It's been a long time since I was last out there last. I drove by Saturday last weekend but didn't see anyone there.
The Quattro club is meeting up Angel's Diner at the corner of I-4 (Hughey Ave) and Colonial Dr at 7:30am on Sunday. So if anyone is heading out on Sunday you can meet up there.

Soooo, I will still be there with dubhed22 and Senna1.8T. I'll hang out till about 1:15 and then head out to 1552. Aiight? Hope to see you guys there!

I hope all those from O town that where involved in the wreck on I4 on their what to the winter Trffen are all OK.

hey les, thanks for the concern. it was a group of audis coming from Orlando that was involved in the incident, though. Apparently a stove or something fell in front of them and ended up causing some damage. I think everyone came out okay, though.

Yeah the A4 took most of the damage. The TT (Roadster) was lucky because when the stove top hit the car it blew up and only a small piece hit the guys head.
I lost most of you in the drive down, but it was nice to see a bigger turnout this year. Some how I managed to get 2nd place in S4 class again... must of been that clean engine bay.
