what type of torch is that? its only one cannister.. so it can't be oxyacetalene....

the torch is a straight acetalene torch, it picks up oxygen in the handle... very unique torch of my dads... it is mainly used for plumbing. the Oxy-acetalene torch is at my dads friends house....
about heating it up.. i used a No. 2 tip and just went off on the thing till it was red hot... then i put it in the vise with a couple shims so i didnot ding it... and bent it straight.... although even with a torch it did take a little hammering and flattening to get the finished product.
