Oh yeah I um got a turbo setup really cheap today

Yes at the "Secret Junkyard" I picked a Renault Fuego Turbo with wastegate, intercooler, and an intercooler tube for the price of $65. Hmmm maybe 2.0L 10.5:1 Turbo Eurotrash Rabbit running CAM2 race fuel (118 oct). The turbo is pretty big too it was on a 1.6 motor. Way to big for a 1.6 even a 2.0L
The car had a factory weber thottle body (2 plane) and Bosch L jet on it or some other funky system I am going to snag the TB and the fuel system and intake. Any one know how much boost these things push stock and what the HP is and the fuel sytem? The intercooler has an electric fan on it too.

great deal! post some pics. I had a few renaults a 5L a 12L a 4L a 2.0 18 but none with turbo. they are great cars when maintained right, The only thing I know is that the fuego is very fast

I htought the Renault looked like a turd. I have seen this car for the past 4 years and always though it was a Saporro. Then my buddy said this car is turbo and I said hey that turbo is mine b!tch backoff. And he is all like well take it. And I am all like I will so move aside and pass me my tools. And he is like ok. And I am all like, well you get the idea. The Fuego looked pretty heavy.

Well I just visited the Fuego Home page and the Performance(?) figures were very um disapointing 0-60 for the turbo 10.7 secs, 1/4 17.9secs I guess for Renault standards that is fast. Well the execption is the Alpine A110 and R5. THey are bada$$. But I did not know this car ahd a big following. Anyone know the turbo type and brand, KKK, Schwitzer, Garret, Roto-master,Ray-Jay. My guess is KKK. I have not looked at it carefully yet. It has an integrated waste gate on it. And yes it does use L-Jet. The HP figures are 107hp and 122 ftlbs of torque at 5500 and 2500 respectively. It has a hemi head on it too.

yes but remember that the wastegate settings on a stock turbo car are very conservative and also the displacement is very small it's only 1600 cc's but everyone with a fuego was tweeking boost. (my father owned a renault dealership in mexico, that's why I was in renaults somehow)

The turbo is huge on this thing. How much boost do they run stock like 3-4 lbs? It is a KKK turbo. It will be cool in the Rabbit.
