read the faq
wasn't specific enough to tell which 4 torqx screw to remove
freaking over 15 torqx screws of so under there
and pretty much all of them interlock with each other!!
the faq refers to the little plastic piece right under the filter right?
well...it's screwed on by 6 screws and i can get 2 of em off!!
freaking screw turns but don't come off!!

bahh..
freaking had to remove other piece of rubber before i reached it
now i can't freaking get that damn oil filter!!
freakin oil filter wench bent up the filter!!
does sears carry that oil filter adapter in stock all times?

Not sure, you'll have to use the "screwdriver + hammer" method now.
Take (1) screwdriver, place against (1) oil filter, and pound with hammer (100 times). Then use the screwdriver handle as a lever to turn the oil filter, clockwise of course.
It's a big oily mess but your only option at this point. Good luck!

the first oil changes are fun on this little puppy huh?
We have all been there before buddy. The next changes will be much simpler, guarantee it!

had a metal ring type filter
it dented up the filter and didn't budge it at all
ran over to pepboys and bought a cap type oil filter remover...
worked great!!
now i have an ugly mess on my beatiful 1.8t motor!!

I couldn't get that filter off for anything. So I just drained and added some oil. I'm going to jiffy lube next time and having them do it :| With specific instructions to hand tighten only please...
