Pretty good read, albeit a bit long. I'm presently using the Purolator Plus 20252. No problems so far...

What about the new K&N oil filters im seeing on the shelf? Are they worth the $10? or am i just better off using OEM filters to keep that damn check oil light off?

i use k&n and no check oil light.
works for me.
