none needed...read an article that said that oil additives actually hurt the oil's cooling properties...sure, it makes the oil rise to parts better, but it causes oxygen bubbles in the oil and hurts the oil's performance

Fuel additives are a different story. RedLine or Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner aren't bad to use every now and then. But, stay away from oil additives. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com is a good place to learn about oils.

yeah...I use Redline fuel treatment every now and then...you can get it at Pep Boys

Chevron, Shell, BP Amoco already add additives to fuel. if you run 91-93 oct by those brands you shouldn't need to use any fuel addivtive

I usually preach that too...couldn't hurt to add a little extra every now and then...but, you are right...fuels these days have cleaners in them already

What about a gas line anti-freeze ? If your car sets for a while in changing
temps the tank sweats. Do these additives harm anything in the fuel systems ?
