well
check the oil pan drain bolt..
is it tight??
maybe the washer is hella old and its leaking.
where do u see oil coming from??
i dunno but the only 2 places i know of is valve cover gasket and oil drain bolt plug...
should be one of those
p.s also maybe oil filter?
check these things, go under the car jack it up and look where its coming from if u can see it dripping

So did you clean the engine yet? I should be pretty easy to see the highest point of oil once you do that, especially if it's flowing out as much as you've said.
Re: oil leakage?? (Tbird Pimpistik)

thanks man!!! i just changed the oil filter i dont think thats the case, but hopefully its the washer for the drain plug on the oil pan!!!!!!!! ill have to go check it out, its hard to tell where the damn leak is coming from even when im under the car, cause its so damn dirty and oily i mean the entire frigen underneath of the car is just soaked in oil, makes me sick!!!!!! cant really clean it i dont have a pressure washer to do that with.

Re: oil leakage?? (verxdropper)

you can get gunk degreaser or carb and choke cleaner from your local parts store and that will clean it up alot better than the sprayer at the car wash. that will make it easy to see. its a little more work but the results are better. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: oil leakage?? (verxdropper)

Dude, don't take a pressure washer to your engine bay! That's way more than you need. You're not making a concours car, you're just trying to find a leak. And besides, pressure washers can screw you pretty bad. All you need is a water hose. Get some engine brite or something.. Spray on, hose off. I prefer simple green and an assortment of brushes, but whatever. Hopefully you don't have A/C, since that crowds up the engine bay a lot. Anyway, cover the distributor and alt and other electrical stiff with plastic bags and some duct tape to make it form fit, douse stuff down, and hose it off. You just need to get enough oil off to see where the fresh stuff is showing up. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa my engine is filthy like my muther
Re: oil leakage?? (verxdropper)

I actually had to use a SCRAPER to clean my engine when I got it.

I filled an oil collection pan with solid sludge I scraped free, before I could go in and actually scrub the engine clean.

Your problem is the car. Get rid of it and your problem will be solved.

Re: oil leakage?? (verxdropper)

go and buy some Simple green. Spray it all around the engine and let it sit for a few minutes, then use a garden hose and put your thumb over top (you know what I mean) to give you higher pressure and spray the thing off. That stuff works wonders....

Oil can leak out of any engine gasket. I had a 8v head gasket leak from the rear oil return from the head. Time and heat finally just rotted it away and crankcase pressure blew the oil out.
Re: oil leakage?? (verxdropper)

try using a rubber gasket is like night and day, i did and no more leaks
