I pulled off my Intake manifold and was treated to this odd site, every other runner extremely dirty and dirtier towards the last one, any ideas?

What cylinders? Looks like the oil-bypass through the PCV is collecting in your runners.
And willing to bet it's darker on cylinders #2, #4 and #6, due to heat of combustion...
Let me know, I'm interested to hear from ya'.

Re: Oily runners...Any ideas? (bluefox280)

Those are exactly the runners that have the problem, its very odd, at least for me, that they would be every other runner and get progressively worst as they get to the last runner, #6.
Any ideas on a fix?
Any other problems I should look for in regards to this?
What is a good way to clean the gunk that is already collected on the runners?
Thanks for the help.

Clean all the gunk out and run a catch can for the PCV blow-by. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif I need to set it up on my, but I'm too lazy.
You could put it all back together and run that seafoam stuff through it, that'll clean all the ish out.(another thing I need to do
)

Has anyone cracked a motor that had sea-foam applied to it? Does it chew up the metal at all?
