84 gti, black, straight as hell, runs awesome, has new tires, brakes, and master cyl, no rust... needs an exhaust system.
who would like to see this car on my 7 spoke porsche alloys,
dumped on coils
single 7" headlamps
badgeless grille
small euro bumpers
etc.....
maybe even a vr6??
and of course, the ever so famous 'flat black' would be a must!
i think that would satisfy my need for a Boxster S

thoughts?

my god that pic is beautiful, reminds me of the rabbit my rents had when i was first born, i have pictures of it somewhere
Re: ok, got a rabbit for next to nothing... (VolkSchnell-GTI)

Do it ASAP. You have the right idea....flat black baby!
Not VR6 though, 2.0L 16V...for weight purposes. Plus it sounds BADASS uncorked.

I'd like to second the 2.0 16V...or, if you really want to get nasty, try to find some calloway parts...my buddy has an original calloway. Oh boy is that a fun car to ride in.

Luke- You bitch. E-mail me pics

I was gonna pick up a 16v bunny but it fell through so I have to go back to the 84, oh well.
Don't put a damn VR6 in it, that would kill the handling. 8v turbo, or, dare I say, 20v turbo

I agree, I used to have a 2.0L 16v rabbit http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif and it was fast enough for me. Lots of the fun to be had in a rabbit is its nimbleness and cornering abilities. VR6 would be too top heavy for it, and would defeat the purpose.

quote:

sweet car, needs some new wheels though... Crazy arse intercooler setup, I would try to run a front mount and eliminate all of those crazy angles http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

he wanted a sleeper.....
no FMIC for Johnny...

i've always loved the sound of a wicked 16v.... hmmmm

I say you do bright red....rip out the interior, carpet, headliner, even the dash. Paint interior red too. Next get some harley guage pods, chrome, and use them for gauges. Outside, shave entire car except racing gas cap, old school 3 piece ronals, and plished harley bike mirrors. Single lights and duckbill spoiler and euro bumpers. Thats the perfect bunney. Ohh, 16V, polished.
