Ok...So the monster is together...In...Turned over. I have fuel...But as far as I can tell, no spark. Pulled #1 plug wire and put a plug in. No spark. Put another wire on the coil with a plug. Again no spark. Im getting fuel to the rail (under pressure but nothing to the return) and I can smell it. But I cant get anything from the coil. What could be causing this?
My list to check tomorrow includes:
ECU connection (check)
ECU ground (check)
Coil power
Coil
#30 Relay (saw somethin bout it in the search...Anyone???)
Check the fuel pump for longer than 2 sec run for hall sender signal(Search) (check)
I stripped and rewrapped the entire harness while the motor was out and searched for brittle or broken wires and connectors and replaced them with new connectors/wire via soldering iron. So I kinda doubt its a bad wire. My question is...There is one ground coming out of the harness along with the tach signal wire (green one) Is this a ground for the coil? Or where would the coil ground lead? And something else I came accross...Coil is black wire to hot side red to ground correct???
Help me out guys...Im hertin for a drive rite now
