Uhh I made that confusing... Im cool car 1 haha

What car... mine after Im finished (turbo and my CF front clip)
or this thing.. I found this damn pic and Im posting it alll over hahahahahaha.

LMAO!! 3.1 at 280 horse????With what a 75 shot of nos.Most vr6 3.1's go about (close) to 200 at the wheels!280 horse out of a 3.1? I dont think so.And for the money you have a 14.2 sec car for about a 6grand motor!Bolt on a charger on a 2.8 and have 220 at the wheels.Without boost you lose! That guy chris AKAvr6corrado was getting close to 200 at the wheels on a 3.1 vr.Sure it sounds great but for the money and power i would boost it!

3.1L VR6's are rated at 260BHP, VR6 moter is not made for forced induction, and power delivery is way better on an NA moter...just my style, i hate forced induction....the last spec i read on a 3.1L in european car rated it at 258BHP....that would be about 220WHP more or less. u add way more power and your not getting much faster then mid 13's on street tires, its FWD, who cares about 1/4.....if you do, get a mustang, corrados are autobahn crusers, not drag cars....1/4 means nothing to me....now 60MPH and up, thats a different story....no german cars are 1/4 for that matter...back roads and autobahn is where they shine.

You can definatly get 280 HP out of a 3.1L VR. But it would take alot. Maybe 300 degree cams, and standalone. I know a guy with a NA 2.0 16v who is getting over 200 horse... so any thing is possible

FYI..the 3.1L EIp moter makes over 300BHP, now a 3.2L...thats even more power with no forced induction, the EIP 3.0L moter makes figures close to what i stated before, about 270BHP

I liked to see the dyno of eips 3.1 there is no way to get 300 horse without about 13:1 compresion and on some serious race fuel and some wicked cams!That corrado in euro tuner was a 3.2 =3147 and was putting down about 240 at the crank.Im sure you could get 300 horse but you couldnt drive it on the street.What 290 degree cams.The 3.1 at 10.0-10.5 is good for about 200 at the wheels anymore than that you are looking at 104+ octane!

Biggest billet cam for a VR6 that I know of is the Schrick 288, might be able to get a bigger one that's a regrind though. You're going to need alot of static compression, race gas, and aftermarket management to get that bugger to run though. Not a street setup at all.
240 crank hp out of a 3.1 or 3.2 is just pathetic. These guys really have to raise the comp a bit and run a nice head with the right cams.
And lets not talk about EIP anymore, it makes my head hurt

i disagree with his idea....That GTi isn't no 400HP beast..its probably pumping close to the same power your car is making plus it has more drag and the gear ratios arnt as close....so i put my Money on blackies car...BTW.....Blackie you have one of the finest Corrados i've ever seen on this Forum..you and Rooks now sold Corrado..that was a bad ass raddo.
