My 86 bmw 325e was just totalled by the insurance company(not my fault). RIP

My parents have told me to find a car for <=$2,000(what insurance will give us). So far ive found a 16v rocco, and some 528e's.
Here's what the listing says:
16v model, 5spd, sunroof. New parts within the last year include: T-belt, motor mounts, distributor, tires, exhaust(techtonics SS) radiator, and more. The car runs and looks excellent! I've just recently noticed that the car has an occasional starting problem; most of the time it starts perfectly but as a result I have dropped the price. I live in Berkeley and due to limited parking, I must get rid of the car soon!
128,000 miles, 5 speed.
Does this starting problem sound easy enough to fix?

check the scirocco classifieds on the forums here.. There is a fellow selling his rocco for
about the same.. and is in awesome shape..
You'll be happy with a scirocco.. they are great

I've seen the car, and apart from the hot start issue it's very clean and worth what's being asked for it.

oh, ok i found that scirocco on autotrader, and apparently he's selling it here too. must convince my father....otherwise im going to get a $&#@ 84 honda accord
