2004 Beetle Convertible 64,000 miles Transmission shifts good but the check engine light came on dash and said P0841 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor?circuit range performance. Car was taken to a transmission shop who replaced the valve body with a used unit (twice) and the light kept coming back on. I took the car to a VW Master Mechanic who re-checked the wiring and decided it had to be the Transmission Control Module. He replaced it, drive it, shifted good, after 15 miles the check engine light came back on. What do we do now?

VW MASTER MECHANIC ON ANSWER.COM Says " There are a couple sensors above the valve body that need checked. The valve body has to be removed to do that" What sensors are those?

There is a speed sensor "above" the valve body but that wouldn't have any relation to pressure switch codes. Pressure switches are on the valve body.

1st you may want to scan with vag-com rather than whatever it is your using.
