If this Audi document applies to our engine too: http://www.vaglinks.com/vaglinks_com/Docs/SSP/VWUSA.COM_SSP_436_2.0L_TFSI.pdf This valve is designed to selectively allow the oil pump to run at low and high pressures. It looks like the default, unenergized state is high pressure which is a good default mode. Either way, time to see the dealer. Since you'll no doubt be pulling the JB1, double check any electrical connections at the bottom of the engine.

If the document doesn't apply, seeing the dealer still applies. :D

I just learned we DO NOT NEED A CATCH CAN!!
We already have one built in, with a return drain :heart:
Hope this helps with carbon build up

Depending on the nature of the fault, a "perceptive"
driver may notice a slight variation in engine idling
speed

DAMN...

Made an appointment Monday 12am, see what they say..
If anyone cares, dealer pulled same code..
Odd enough my handheld reader couldn't find it.. but the obdeleven did lol

Everything tested fine, all readings good etc.. mechanic still decided to check it out.. and follow the trouble tree
1st thing he goes it says check wiring and connections.
He found the plug for that, wasn't fully seated

So all good
Will still keep an eye on it
