I had my 2016 R MK7 in for 50K service. I have a P2024 EVAP Fuel Vapor Sensor code. Dealer said broken wire and connector. Wants $450 to repair. Sounds excessive. Any thoughts? Where physically is the sensor located? Thanks in advance.
Same problem. How were you able to unplug the harness to repair it?GTi 2016, the same P2024, same fix. just a little bit of corrosion on the red wire, but it was broken inside. I used pipe insulation to protect the wires against the tank fin.
