Ideas on how that was done?

Not positive, but I think at first, the Oettinger kit shipped to fit only the euro bumper. Now, it's made to fit the US spec bumper- either that, or there's a version for both now.....

yep.. def made for the NA bumper as well.. goes on the same way.. just make sure you specify..

yes they make one for NA bumper. had mine on since '99.
