any of you locals paint cars and wanna help me out with a mk1 project??

i can recommend a great guy........he is a little on the expensive side. i don't know what your budget is but he is an old timer so he can do it right......we are rebuilding an old car which need a lot of work he did an awesome job.... he will be painting my fk badgeless and my rear spoiler http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif he is in seymour

whats the first thing or almost the first thing when people look at your car.....Paint
don't go cheap on the paint...a good paint job will cost you some money.

you think id be much cheaper if the entire car was stripped down to the sheetmetal and chasis and already primmered? anyone have any prices?

i have a '73 tr6 as a project car. we totally stripped it and gave it to the our painter. he did everything he had to welding, staightning, and such. it was a fair price for what the guy had to do... would highly recommend stripping the entire car. it would give a more detailed look to the car....plus it is a mk1 so it is a little older and if there are any hidden rust spots now is the time to take care of them.
