This is a resitance wire that the dealer cannot get. Was told its a Canadian Part and they cannot order it due to issues with US customs. Those anybody know what the resistance for this part is. Thanks

It was a US part, but it was dropped Oct-2003 with no replacement. Maybe you can find one still in inventory somewhere.

I guess you have a copy of tech bulletin 98-05?

Hi - I am having the same issue! Did you ever find out the resistor value?

My voltage readings:

• 50% - normal: 2.30, mine 2.44
• 95% - normal: 4.29, mine 4.67
• 100% - normal: 4.35, mine 4.88

VW says that "if readings are not within 0.05 volts, then throttle angle setting was not correct".

Appreciate any help!!!
