I'm trying to find the part number for the tray that replaces the vent in the picture below...

Even better if someone has a link to where I could buy one that would be great!
Thanks

P.S. - I searched and checked the FAQ already...

Re: (Shainz)

I beleive it's what VW is calling a shelf.
VW part number 1K0 857 921 D 1QB.
There is also a piece that looks like a liner and the description of it is
"insert for stowage box" The VW part number for that is
1Ko 858 167 9B9. They are available from
http://www.1stvwparts.com.
Call Zeb at 888-528-5280 X262 and he can order them for you.

I got it from the dealership. The rubber insert was INCLUDED when I ordered the shelf. The bolts are ALREADY in the dash.
Also, make sure you do not have dual zone climatronic, as it uses the sensor installed in front of the vent.

Re: Part Number Needed - (Holden McNeil)

What does this look like after the install? I want to install this on my 2006 jetta and have yet to see how to replace it if it is hard or not and to see a picture of how it looks after you got done. SO could you please show a completed picture and tell if it was easy or hard to do.
Thanks
Kevin
