Are you gonna change out your rings?
BTW, how'd the cookout go?
Re: Parts for Engine rebuild....just want to double check (Blown6T)

Cook out was great...should be some vids of me messing up the grass at the park up soon

So far I have a rebuilt head(valve guides, springs, lifters, steam seals), head gasket, exhaust gasket, intake gasket
I still need the cam, piston rings, rod barrings, rod bolts, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket
is there anything im missing / need to do / may as well do

Don't know if it'll help, but http://www.gprparts.com has alot of the stuff too, for decent prices (cheaper on some, more on others) I've never ordered from them, but they are on my list...

Likewise, thanks! Just what I'll need in a couple weeks.

They certainly can go bad, but it isn't exaclty terribly common or anything. I'd say it is one of those things that you "might as well do while you're in there" if you've got the money.
