The oil warning light and beeper beeps often when the car is running between 2000 and 2200 RPM. If I decrease the RPM below 2000 the light and beeper continue to warn of low oil pressure, but if I rev the car above about 2200 RPM the warning stops.
The oil pressure is good, and the oil is clean. I have read this is either an issue with the high-rpm oil pressure sensor or the instrument cluster. Is there a way to determine which?
