Hey everyone,
This is my first post on this forum, so apologise that I don't know where to post this. I didnt find a passat B8 thread anywhere.
So I have a B8, 2015 model year, with a panoramic sunroof. The moving part of it creaks when it tilts up or down. I had read some other posts with similar issues, but not this exact one, so I'd like to emphasise: it is fine while driving, it only creaks when it tilts. When it starts sliding back the noise mostly stops.
I dont't know when, or how the noise started, because I just bought the car, without getting information on this about the previous owner. Right now the sunroof operates well except the worrying noise. It is kind of loud, cracking, and vibrating.
Have anyone experienced this? Can I DIY fix it? I'd like to at least give it a try if it is not lubricated adequately, or something similar easy fix.
