Pchopped car with 1.2" eibach pro drop... looks nice!!!

I did this real technical like... took picture of car.. then took picture from exact same refrence point of car with measuring tape held at fender through wheel center front and rear. In pchop I layerd the pics together.. and then drew a line through 1.2" lower than the fender lip exactly... then dropped it using the line as the refrence point.
Cant wait to get my tax refund so I really CAN drop it!!
heres a stacked picture.. original 4x4 on top heh...

nice. slap some 17s on there and even more wheel gap will be erased.
are you going with the pro dampers as well? or leaving stock shocks?

nice, i too am looking into the pro system. what's the best price that you've found. shox.com offers around 500 plus shipping IIRC. tax return should take care of that along with some other mods

i have the H&R sports, and i think that drop is perfect

i was condsidering the pro kit, but 1.2 is too little for me....1.5 at least

That's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Up until now I was thinking weitec but this is a little better. I hate the 4x4 look, but I don't like too low either. I want something that evens up the gap the whole way around.

I am having the Eibach Pro Kit springs installed in the AM. I have the 17" Longbeach rims. I will post before/after pics ASAP. Good job on the photoshop! BTW thge Eibach site specifies the drop as 1.3" (As if it matters)

1.2"? thats such a small drop...you gotta drop at least 2 inches or more if your putting on 17s...even with 18s, the mk4 wheel gap is so big...i dunno, to me 1.2" drop still looks like a stock suspension, cant really tell its lowered...

I have the prokit, and that is exactly what the drop looks like! Good job. Iwas thinking that the drop wasn't enough, but with the roads around here, I'm not interested in busting oil pans.

dani nice job!! I like it. Infact seeing that has made me want to get the VW lowering suspension more! It's the elbach one basically but VW approved with is important to us nuts who like warranties

just a note... I dont want to go any lower because i'll be running 235/40/18s on an 18x8.5" rim... Thats gonna put the gap about 3/8ths less than in the photochop. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Get some wheels, that will make your car look 100% better....and then you can decide on some suspension....
