Reality is almost always disappointing. Sure, there are high peaks of ecstasy and low valleys of sadness and humans to love and junk, but, really, it’s mostly a grind. The universe is committed, with all the deaf insistence of a bureaucrat, to providing a little downside for every upside.

Enter pogforever , a seemingly French social media upstart who was unhappy with the realities of supercar ownership (we presume). While a Lamborghini Aventador coupe sounds exciting with its 6.5-liter V12, it’s also a colossal pain in the ass.

Insurance, gas, just getting the damn thing started after the battery dies. It all takes the blush from the ownership experience. And after all of that, you can’t even take it to Spa. Have you ever tried to fit a weekend bag and race gear into an Aventador? Can't be done.

So the enterprising owner did what most of us do and turned to the virtual world of racing games. With a little know-how and a lot of gumption, he turned his Aventador into an Xbox controller to play Forza 7.

The setup could use a little cleaning up. Wires and even a keyboard still adorn the car, but the fact remains that what was once a slow-moving tribute to excess is now a passport to the world’s race tracks, albeit a needlessly expensive one. Best of all, it seems like the setup doesn't keep the car from returning to car duty.

So we here at VW Vortex applaud you, Monsieur pogforever, and say pog forever. Pog forever, indeed.
