Hi!
I have a problems. From the beginning, the sound from the sound system disappeared. At first it disappeared and then appeared. After that, the volume from the steering wheel could not be adjusted. Later I noticed that the clock was showing the wrong time I tried to adjust it he didn't respond to it. I checked all the fuses all is ok. After checking the fuses, I found that I could no longer adjust the hardness and clearance of the shock absorbers. Pressing the button displays a menu but the central button that adjusts the hardness of the shock absorber does not respond to it is solid and cannot be turned. With the VCDS I performed a suspension test on it, the car responds by lifting and lowering both front and rear and when locking the car the shock absorbers also respond. A / C can be adjusted. I can switch radio stations or turn on CDs and switch songs. When I click on the DSP it pops up the message "The digital sound package is temporarily not available. I checked both batteries there everything is fine with the car turned off shows a bit over 12v at the running car a bit over 14v. I tried to clear the errors with VCDS but several sections Cannot be reached. Maybe can anyone suggest where to look for a problem and what could be the solution.
Thank you very much in advance.

The brake pressure sensor problem may be causing the level controller to be unresponsive. The controller 7 may be causing the infotainment issue, have you checked all the fuses. I have no idea which fuse is for the control head.

The brake pressure sensor error was already there and it is related to ACC but everything works. The suspension is also physically in working order, but I can't adjust it with the buttons next to the gearshift. I checked all the fuses. Both those under the steering wheel and those in the luggage compartment above the large battery. I tested the suspension with VCDS and everything works. When I lock the car the suspension also responds and levels it. So it's not about the suspension as such, but about the buttons on the center console.

Only I didn't notice if the suspension could not be adjusted with the buttons before or after I started checking all the fuses.

What year is it?

Do you have a ZAB or RNS-810?

Do you have the original bus or the tater bus?

I see the Databus for Infotainment has faults including in the Gateway. Have you tried resetting the gateway?

I also see that a lot of stuff on the Infotainment Bus cannot be reached.

If I was looking for a physical problem, I would check the bus cable and the ZAB or RNS-810.

Its 2008 and ZAB how can you reset the getaway? I don't really know how to do it.

That was for the original Gateway. I see you have long coding. I didn't notice that before.

I guess that answers the question about if you have the old bus or the new bus.

You recode the Gateway to the same coding as before. Then the Gateway refreshes the installation list.

See post # 10

(2) Requirement to Refresh the CAN gateway (Controller 19) after Controller Retrofits or Controller Removal | VW Vortex - Volkswagen Forum

If that doesn't help, I would look for a disconnected bus cable or broken bus cable.

I don't know if the newer bus uses all fiber or not.

I worked with Fiber Optics (F/O) in the military. The lines are delicate and you don't want to get the connectors or transceiver lenses dirty. We used isopropyl alcohol or distilled water with special Fiber Optic sponge tip swabs (Q-Tips will leave cotton fibers behind). Since they are so delicate, you can't bend the F/O lines like wires. They will snap inside but look OK from the outside. We had special scopes to see if the connector ends were cracked. We had laser pointers to see if light could make it through the lines. We had to shine the light on a paper or into a test set because it would damage your vision. You can also use a flashlight to see if the line will still conduct light. We had Laser test sets to see if the lines had too much attenuation. We had a whole tool kit including an OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer).

The old bus only used fiber for the NAV.

If the new bus uses mostly shielded twisted pair copper lines like the old bus, they aren't as delicate but you still have to treat them with care.

Update. In the end, the problem was with the auxiliary heat unit. At the purchase of the car he did not work and the previous owner had disconnected him with the help of coding, but physically the unit was still connected. Unit is just behind the front bumper on the left side over time there was a lot of dirt piling up and it had physically damaged rust, etc. Because AUX heating is connected to A/C, which operates accordingly from the monitor on the central console, it stopped the CAN line and for this reason the music and buttons responsible for suspension hardness and height adjustment do not work. I physically disconnect the AUX heating unit and everything else is now working.
