Phone bluetooth without multi func. steering wheel

Hello guys.

I have one simple question. I have bought second hand b6 passat which have integrated telephone module under passanger seat and with basic steering wheel without any buttons. Is this factory configuration even possible ? Because i cant pair cell phone and phone bluetooth module.

With VCDS i can connect to Address 77:

I suspect that previous owner changed steering wheel or additionaly install phone module ?

Odd I'd guess that he swapped in a MFSW

Silly question. Does it show up on your phone. It normally only pair-able for like 3 minutes after vehicle stArted. It shows up as uhv.

today i called my vw dealer and he checked by VIN what steering wheel factory has been fitted and he assured me that basic steering wheel without buttons was first installation..

Yes, this configuration is possible. It provides 'phone control function via the stalks

Your module 1K8 035 730 D is very down level. Made in 2008. At that time a lot of VW BT modules would only pair with Nokia 'phones. Get a later module. Chart with what module offers what facilities at:

Before i retrofitted my mfsw. I had to answer and hang up thru phone. Once answered bluetooth would take over until i hung up thru phone.

i have a volk L bluetooth module only that i replaced. i'll take $25 shipped. pm me if interested. you should be able to swap modules onto existing harness. not 100% about this.

Its very simple!
If you have a VCDS you must to code 77 controller! Code is 412220
And you must click to Adaptation and choose Visible mode for Bluetooth controller its working few seconds and controller will not be visible for pairing
