Any problems with paint chipping?
1- it is textured which makes more difficult for paint adhesion
2- it is pretty low to catch a lot of rocks

1. Get it sanded smooth, have your body shop use flex agent in the paint.
2. Only time i scratched it was when i was pulling into a driveway too fast because i was in a rush - my fault.

The valence has been on the car and painted for over 2 years. Paint has never chipped or peeled. It does take some extra wear from road debris, but who cares. I don't use my Jetta to plow corn fields or clear snow from streets. I think it'll be ok.
