I've been wanting to do this for 2 years now. I've even thought of stopping the completion of my current VR6 turbo project to do this. If I can find them for a realitively inexpensive price I'll pick them up.
The 2K I saw for a set sometime ago was too much. Not for the machining/ design and parts involved.

wouldn't FI totally defeat the purpose of ITBs? i understand ITBs work of the harmonic pulses of the valves opening and closing which creates higher intake velocity in NA form. but if you were running boost wouldn't that harmonic pulse be negated by the high air velocity created by the turbo?

JRC did do ITB's on their 16v scirocco along with a turbo. The car did make 350whp or something like that. The numbers didn't end up being all that impressive for the complexity of the system. On a forced induction car you are better off saving the $$$ and putting it into good engine management.

I've never seen anyone with a VW do this. But I do believe that the Skylines came from the factory this way.

JRC dropped the idea because it was a PITA to tune and get working well....
from what i HEARD.

If you ask me, there is no point in doing both.

there are tons of cars out there with itb's and boost....and why shouldnt there be...everything leads to the fact that it is just like the one big throttle body that everyone else with boost has...build an air box and run it...these cars create frightening acceleration...and they should from equal plenums per cylinder

They later figure out the ecu was bad. More than likely causing their problems.
