I followed this thread and must say that mine came out pretty good, although I put on one too many coats and they're darker than I'd like them. I thought they'd brighten up in the sunlight, but no dice.
Tamiya X-19 was used to darken, and Tamiya X-22 clearcoat was used on top. I'd hoping the clearcoat will help protect it. Thanks to 1bad16V and VRClowncar for helping me with a few questions.

It doesn' tlook bad. BUt it kinda looks like you put to thick of coats on.

i had my lights done like that too.. then a couple months ago i took a short all highway road trip, about 400 miles round trip, and they got chipped pretty bad, so i took a flathead screwdriver and scrapped it all off

Looking really nice, are you able to do that with orange indicators aswell? What about your fogs? Would that be possible?

I bought new Hella smoked sidemarkers from someone on here. Not touching the fogs. I like them clear.
