Hi matey,
looks well smart, i got my spoiler done on sats looks the part now....just got a quote to have my windows tinted...300quid...the main vw dealer will do it for me..heheh

Thanks chaps!!!!! The spoiler does finish is off, does look smart. I'm looking to change the shocks to lower it and I'm after the 17" 5 spoke Audi TT rims just to keep the whole car German

Tinted windows sound cool mate, I didn't know the dealers can do that for you!!!!

Hi matey,
i didn't know tinted windows where a factory fitted option until i picked me car up on sats, as they had 2 spanking new GTI's with the dark windows fitted in for the lucky new owners....but it didn't look cool on grey GTI's looks a bit dull to me...

hahah....yeah i will have to watch my back when i am driving in the black out golf.....hahahaha....do they replace the windows or just put some sort of tinted film on the windows itself?............

I saw those this morning when i wizzed past Corkills....ehhheeemmm i mean drove casually past keeping to her majesty's speed limits

They apply a thin plastic film onto interior side of the windows...
You'll have be careful with the plod mate as they can be funny buggers with tints. Apperently its to do with the ammount or percentage tint thats applied, i think the legal limit is about 30%, but dont quote me on that!
I've got a mag somewhere with a review on tints, I'll dig it out...

They done a good job on the spoiler, i got the inside of the wing mirror fixed ( a damage case) and a little dent sorted out and they installed the spoiler all for £221 quid....its confusing cos i got quoted for the spoiler (labour and vat) for £260 alone with out the cost for the dent and wing mirror, either they can't add up or i am a lucky guy...hehehe...

heheheheheee...sounds like they aint added on the VAT to me...did ya pay em in cash?

funnily enough they asked me at the time whether i will be paying in cash i just said yes but ended up paying on me stress out Switch Card, any tips on avoiding dents?...i hate shopping as i once saw this bloke push his empty trolley in to a audi a3 (it was a bit windy) as he missed the trolley bay...if that was my car i would have run him over!!!!..........
how much did u pay for your spoiler?..

300 quid for tint?

That's like $450. I only paid $120 for 3M tint with a lifetime guarranty! I know the sun doesn't come out much but there has got to be some better deals out there.

Best tip on avoiding dents is.... stay away from Supermarkets - espesially ASDA (the switch island one in particular, urrr h
te that place)..! heeheee
Unfortantley some of the time dents are down to driver error..I myslef have got a lovely bit of damage on my passenger side front wheel arch, wich was done by me reversing out of my garage and catching a flume cover.. i still need to get that sorted. Dents can be easily fixed tho mate...just you have to fork out evertime they need fixing!
The rear spoiler im unsure of how much that cost as I bought my car used and it had the kit fitted allready (put on at the factory I think)...I would like fit the 25th anni spoiler tho, you got any pics of your new spoiler?
Are you gonna go for the tinting then?

oops....i don't think my spoiler is the 25th Anniversary GTI , i have just seen the 25th Anniversary GTI car on this website and it doesn't look that hot and i have the same as yours which i think looks nicer...but i will probably end up having the same bodykit as that car thought.......
