Has anyone seen a 2 or 3 A- piller gauge pod for a Beetle? If so... does anyone have any pics...

There should be a 3 gauge pillar for our cars, there has to be someone out there making one. I personally dislike the center gauge piece it looks to fat.

The car looks awesome. I just got my new(factor) A-pillar today at work. Gotta love ordering the parts for your own car. I am going to start fabricating it to fit a 2 or 3 pod pillar set up. The hardest part that I can set with be finding the correct paint or fabric to cover the pods so that they match the interior. I hope it all works out. If it does I will keep everone posted.
If anyone find pics, please post em.

Take them to an auto body shop.That's what I did with my speaker pods.Give the painter one of your cup holders and have him mix the paint according to that.

he can match the paint color, but what about the texture?
our pillars have a rough surface texture compare to normal paint texture...

Damn, MAD, you've got all kinds of tricks up your sleeve! What did the body shop do to get the pod to look factory like that? It looks like it would take a lot of bondo and/or fiberglass to do it...

It took me ALOT of work!! About 1 month worth.Lots of Bondo and alot more sanding.I had them professionally painted at the body shop where my dad works.
Right now I'm building a new pair which are much better as far as the angles on the speaker pods.Hopefully they'll be finished this Friday with the exception of a paint job.
