Pioneer FH-P8800 should I buy it?

Im thinking of getting this for my Passat to replace the Monsson Double Din. Im not 100% about getting a new headunit, or just using the money to upgrade speakers and get subs...Hmmm any ideas?

These units sell for $300-$350 on ebay. Definetly change HU, it will easier to add amps to aftermarket HU.
