I spoke to a rep at VW customer care regarding pitch / yaw indicators built into the nav system.
The rep informed me that this feature is only available on Touaregs sold outside of the United States, and that if anyone in the US has this feature, he should return the car to the dealer so that it can be removed.
I suspect that the Pitch / Yaw feature is missing for the same reason that keyless ignition is missing, the perceived litigious nature of the US.
I would like to hear from any non-US Touareg drivers if they have this feature. It can be seen in the same screen as the steering wheel position indicator on the nav system.
