I understand the concept of reducing the compression by adding a taller gasket. What would you guys suggest for brand or company to get the gasket from? I would like to do this so I could through in an ARP head stud kit. Would this get me along til next winter running up to 12 psi of boost?
Ok, could the stock bottom end with the compression reduced handle 10 psi and a 50 shot of nos?
Thanks, Ben

i have heard people just using the stock copper gasket...but they double or tripple stack them on top of each other...u can prolly get the thicker gasket from atp or something

stock gasket is not copper.
its multi layer steel. many people use 2 of them for about 1.5pt reduction in compression.
copper gaskets are good too, but cost 100$ at least.
atp charged me like 25$ or so for 2 stock gaskets
