Man i havent seen that engine in years. Thats an Ford Escort RS turbo, and it looks to be an 86-88, the fenders are too pointy. My cous had one back home in Turkey back in 96, actually he still has it. Its a 1.6, its basically the same engine you will find here in an 86 escort. Where it says turbo i think was the intake man. These cars are very very popular to mod in Europe, there like Civics of europe, but by no means are civics. If worked on right they are monsters. Stock.... there quick for there surrounding, i think it was between 120-140hp, its been a while. Nice little car but old. What made me go crazy in 96 was the Cosworth and in Turkey you can buy a full spec rally one from the dealer and drive it on the road and it looks DEAD SEXY!!! Oh yeah you can also buy touring cars, race cars off dealers and drive em on the road. Last race car i saw was a Mondeo Touring car. Made me tear up. Cant wait to go back there and see the street races where they race the 911`s and the 360`s for the slips. " You can drive the mondeo on the road with alittle bribary to the men in blue and no the roads arent silky smooth so no one does it, maybe they do i never so it.
