okay... started looking into the cam market for my stage 3 VF sc kit (gotta get to 300 to the ground http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif )
so I'm looking around via search and I don't see what I'm looking for. All the people who know and the more people who claim to know are saying that the 256 cams are the only ones that an SCed car can benefit from... so the 256's are good for FIed engines - fine.
But recently, I found a set of cams that are NA 256 and FI 256 cams... so what's the difference? one has a 114 lobe and the other is 118 respectively and since the vr6 has two cams... both are 256, so how does this change the performance since they are both of equal duration.
After a little more searching, someone showed me a 264 intake / 256 exhaust for a Turbo application, but now I'm lost, forced induction is what it is, can I use a 264/256 on an SC Vr6? why or why not? and why not any other type of cam?
