i'm gonna get my teardrops sandblasted and powdercoated tomorrow.. trying to decide what colour in the meantime. i really want to powdercoat them ANTHRACITE GREY and leave the lip stock.. but that means i will have to polish the lips myself. is this doable AFTER the wheel has been sandblasted (cuz of the rough texture)?
suggestions~recommendations~advice welcome

here's a pic of [nickinboston]'s teardrops for some views..

You will not be able to polish after blasting, unless you re-machine the lip. The surface after a sandblaster hits it will be too rough and distorted. You'd have far too much material to take off to polish correctly. It can be done, but on a wheel, a new machined face is much more effective and a lot easier.
