Polishing Long Beach Rims....anyone?

I was wondering if you can get the vw long beach rims polished to have more of a polished chrome look, anyone do it? What you think?

There is a dealer in my area that takes stock rims, has them chrome plated, and then sticks them back on the car.
I have seen it done and it doesn't look bad if your into that type of thing.

Yeah, you have to take them to a place to have them done. There is no spray or wipe-on chemical (that I know of) that can do this. Plus the Chromium is so toxic that it probably wouldn't very legal....
I have no idea how much this would cost though.
