I've got this white 1976 golf that I'm going to start on as soon as my Mk2 is done. Its a wierd car. Base-model. No options on it whatsoever. The floor covering is a big grey rubber mat and the seats are vinyl cover Bug seats. I'm thinking about just doing the suspension on the car and cleaning it up and giving it a respray. I've got these cool ET 20 14x6" gold BBS dish wheels from a E21 BMW that I'm putting on it. I'm toying with the idea of keeping the 1500cc engine that has that single barrel carbie on it and rollin' around with the 4 spd. I've also got a 1.8 solid lifter GTI motor and tranny as well. What do ya think guys? Low 'N Slow? or Swap it Out?
(Pics to come soon)
Re: Poll. What should I do to my Mk1? (Vedubauman)
Well, I never got around to digging it out of the weeds at Barry's other shop. Anyways I finally got some extra money to play around with and picked up a few items for it at a primo deal. I think I'm just going to put suspension on it and give it a good respray. I might sell it after that. I'll keep ya posted tho.

Ohhh.. it will be low... and it will be SLOW.... i think the public has spoken... time to rock. The Mk2 is in the paint shop now.. so heheh.. the '76 is coming home soon. Just need to buy front suspension for it so if anyone has a good line on a set of front bilsteins with springs for Mk1.. let me know.
